“Upon awakening at dawn I go into my studio and paint. I cover my panels quickly and without a plan. The paint is applied according to a particular technique I have evolved, and in fact, is a featured subject in and of itself.
I work in a state of wonder, and am surprised as the images arise of their own accord, at which point, I either accept them or push them back into obscurity. The final work collapses the distance between abstraction and realism. Making art is a thread that connects all of life’s events and reveals the essence of who I am.”
